This Privacy Policy explains the data collection and use practices of newyorkoneprep.com website and mobile apps; it does not apply to other online or offline New York One Prep, LLC. and New York Doin Group, Inc. sites, products or services. The terms “you,” “your,” and “yours” refer to the customer/purchaser utilizing our Site. The terms “New York One Prep, LLC.,” “New York Doin Group, Inc.,” “New York One Prep,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to New York One Prep, LLC. and New York Doin Group, Inc. How We Collect Information About You
When you visit the New York One Prep website, use New York One Prep Services, or use third-party services, we collect information sent to us through your computer, mobile phone, or other access device. This information may include your IP address, device information including, but not limited to, identifier, device name and type, operating system, location, mobile network information and standard web log information, such as your browser type, traffic to and from our site and the pages you accessed on our website. You must be at least 18 years old, or of the applicable age of majority, in order to use New York One Prep Services. New York One Prep does not intentionally collect information from or about any individual who is under 13 years old.
If you create an account or use New York One Prep Services, we, or our affiliates vendors acting on our behalf may collect the following types of information:

Financial information – the full bank account and routing numbers and/or credit card numbers that you link to your New York One Prep Account or input when you use paid New York One Prep Services.

This information may include your date of birth, taxpayer or government identification number, a copy of your government-issued identification, or other personal information. When you use New York One Prep Services, we collect information about your transactions and/or your other activities on our website and we may continuously collect information about your computer, mobile device, or other access device for fraud prevention purposes, to monitor for possible breach of your New York One Prep Account, and to identify any malicious software or other activity that may harm New York One Prep or its users.
You may choose to provide us with access to certain personal information stored by third parties such as social media sites (such as Facebook and Twitter). The information we have access to varies by site and is controlled by your privacy settings on that site and your authorization. By associating an account managed by a third party with your New York One Prep account and authorizing New York One Prep to have access to this information, you agree that New York One Prep may collect, store and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Customize, measure, and improve New York One Prep Services and the content and layout of our website and applications;

From time to time we may request your permission to allow us to share your personal information with third parties. In general, we will notify you of material changes to this policy by updating the last updated date at the top of this page, and we will provide you with explicit notice of material changes as required by law. We recommend that you visit this page frequently to check for changes.
What Information We Collect
We gather the following types of information about users through the Site:

Personal Data provided directly by you or via third parties.
We collect Personal Data that you provide to us when you register for an account, update or change information for your account, purchase products or Services, complete a survey, sign-up for email updates, participate in our public forums, send us email messages, and/or participate in Content Offerings or other Services on our Site. We may use the Personal Data that you provide to respond to your questions, provide you the specific Content Offering and/or Services you select, send you updates about Content Offerings or other New York One Prep events, and send you email messages about Site maintenance or updates.
Account Registration.
If you register for an account on our Site, you may be required to provide us with certain Personal Data such as your name, parents name, school name, grade and email address. You may also voluntarily provide us with additional Personal Data.
Updates.
New York One Prep may offer you the ability to receive updates either via email or by posting on portions of the Site only accessible to registered users. In order to subscribe to these Services, you may be required to provide us with Personal Data such as your name and email address.
Forums.
New York One Prep may offer public forums from time to time (the "Forums") where you can share comments and thoughts. In order to participate in the Forums, you may be required to register with us and/or provide us with Personal Data such as your name and email address. Please keep in mind that information you post or make available in Forums will be publicly available. You should not include any personal information or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, in a Forum post. Participation in Content Offerings.
New York One Prep offers users the opportunity to participate in Content Offerings on or through the Site. If you desire to participate in a Content Offering, you will be asked to provide us with certain information necessary to conduct such a Content Offering. This information may include, among other things, your name and email address.
If you participate in a Content Offering, we may collect certain user-generated content, such as assignments you submit, peer-graded assignments, and peer grading feedback. We also collect course data, such as responses to in-video quizzes, standalone quizzes, exams, and surveys. You should not include any Personal Data or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, on assignments, exams, or surveys, except for information required to participate in or submit such assignments, exams, or surveys.
Identity Verification.
New York One Prep may offer you the ability to verify your identity for select Services. In order to enroll for these Services, you may be required to provide us or our third-party identity verification vendor with Personal Data such as your name, address, date of birth, a headshot taken using a webcam, and a photo identification document. Additionally, if you apply for financial aid in connection with these Services, you may be required to provide information regarding your income.
Communications with New York One Prep.
We may receive Personal Data when you send us an email message or otherwise contact us.
Third Party Sites.
We may receive Personal Data when you access or log-in to a third party site, e.g., Facebook, from our Sites. This may include the text and/or images of your Personal Data available from the third party site.
Surveys.
We may receive Personal Data when you provide information in response to a survey operated by us or a Content Provider.
Partner sites.
Partner sites providing Content Offering-related tools and services to New York One Prep users may collect nonfinancial individual-level user data regarding the individual’s use of that partner site while the partner sites provide those services to New York One Prep. The partner sites may share that data with New York One Prep for the purpose of improving our Services, the partner site’s services, and the individual’s education experience. This data includes information such as the amount of time spent on the partner site and pages viewed.
Third Party Payment Processing.
New York One Prep provides you with the ability to pay for Content Offerings and other Services using a credit card or other methods through a third party payment processing service provider. Please note that our service provider – not New York One Prep – collects and processes your financial information.
How You Can Change Access or Change Your Personal Information
You are entitled to review, correct, or amend your personal information, or to delete that information where it is inaccurate, and you may do so at any time by logging in to your account and clicking the Profile or My Account tab. This right shall only be limited where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy in the case in question, or where the rights of persons other than you would be violated. If you close your New York One Prep account, we will mark your account in our database as “Closed,” but will keep your account information in our database for a period of time described above. This is necessary in order to deter fraud, by ensuring that persons who try to commit fraud will not be able to avoid detection simply by closing their account and opening a new account. However, if you close your account, your personally identifiable information will not be used by us for any further purposes, nor sold or shared with third parties, except as necessary to prevent fraud and assist law enforcement, as required by law, or in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Minors
This Service is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age without parent permission and oversight. New York One Prep does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide your contact information or any other personally identifiable information to New York One Prep. If you are the parent or legal guardian of someone under the age of 13 who may have provided us with information without your knowledge or consent, please contact us to have this information removed.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
New York One Prep reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy, from time to time, due to modifications to the Site’s features and functionality. We will post any changes here and indicate the new effective date of the Privacy Policy at the top of the document. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy for any updates while you are an active User of the Site.
Users Outside of the United States
The Site is hosted in the United States and is governed by United States law. If you are using the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our databases are operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries may be different from those in your country.
